Who is Jesus?

In a world filled with more and more uncertainty, crime, unrest, and apathy there are questions that rings clear. There simply must be more to life than this daily existence. Is there a God that desires to know His creation personally and intimately? Thankfully the answer to that question is an overwhelming YES!

Jesus Christ is the one, the only unique Son of God. The Biblical record clearly states that Jesus was born to the Virgin Mary in Bethlehem that he was raised in Nazareth and that he learned the trade of carpenter from his earthly father Joseph. Hundreds of years before his birth Old Testament prophets predicted his birth. Written over a period of 1500 years the Old Testament contains more than 300 such prophecies. All of the details came true including his miraculous birth, his sinless life, his countless miracles, and his death and his resurrection.

The resurrection of Jesus is what makes Christianity unique and radically different from Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Judaism, and Islam. The validity of Christianity hinges on the resurrection of Christ.  If the resurrection never took place, then the Christian faith is based upon a lie and people have no true hope after they die. The resurrection of Jesus Christ has stood the test of time and skeptics. Most great scholars who have considered the proof of the resurrection have believed, and still believe, that Jesus is alive!

The question you must answer is…Who is Jesus Christ?  He is so much more than just a good man, a prophet, a teacher, a healer? Jesus is the one, the only, the unique Son of God. He is the Savior, the Messiah. He willingly died, rose again, and ascended to the right hand of the Father that you might have peace and life everlasting.

Will you choose to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior?

The process of becoming a Christian is really quite simple:

  • Admit that you are a sinner.

  • Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins.

  • Accept the fact that He has forgiven you of your sins.

  • Rejoice in the fact that Jesus is the Lord of second chances and new beginnings.
